b. Select theicon, then select the “Time Off” option to expand the list and select the “Vacation & Absence” option.

c. At the Vacation & Absence page, you can see the total balance of PTO you have.

NOTE: If you do not have any PTO balance or requesting more PTO hours than your balance, it will come up with an error indicating to contact your HR department.

d. Choose the “Start Date” and “End Date” for your requested time off and then select “PTO” under Reason. Then select “Next”.

NOTE: If you or someone else on the team tries to request time off on the same day, it will show who requested PTO, what status it is in, and what days were requested.

e. On the next screen, you can choose from the “PTO Type” drop down menu the appropriate option for your PTO. You can also type any additional notes in regards to your PTO. When you are finished select “Save”.

f. Once the PTO is submitted, it will take you back to the Vacation & Absence page where you can see your pending request on the calendar. You can hover over the colored box to see what it is.

g. The bottom of the page has the option to show “Legends”. This can tell you what each color on the calendar means.

h. Selecting on the day of the request on the calendar will allow you to delete or edit the request.
