Where Will This Solution Be Located: Under the Talent Acquisition/Hiring Manager Portal within Sage People Portal.


When Does This Solution Apply: A Manager needs to open a new position within Keeley Company.


Description: This article will guide you through the process of submitting a new open position as a manager. This guide only pertains to managers, and will be used when a manager is looking to open a position to search for new hires.

1. Log-in to Sage People and navigate to the Talent Acquisition Tab


2. Select Hiring Manager portal

3. Select New to create a new position.


4. Enter the name of the new position you are requesting in the Open Position Name field, select the appropriate template and then select Next.
For example, in the screenshot below, the new position is for a Supervisor at ADB and the template is ADB Management - Supervisor

6. The template you selected in the previous screen will populate the information on the next screen including description, key responsibilities, essential functions, etc to assist you with creating a new position. Fill in all of required fields, identified by a red line to the left of the field

NOTE: If you don't see a template for your position or want to start from scratch, use the appropriate Company's Open Position Template.


8. Select Submit

9. Once submitted, the Authorizing Manager will receive an email to approve or reject your request.

10. If approved by the Authorizing Manager, the Recruiter will then receive an email to complete or reject the final approval.
