Using the Project Portfolio Button in Salesforce Lightning Experience
This button is for L. Keeley Opportunities with a status of “Closed Won”. Using this button creates a new Project Portfolio object related to the Closed Won Opportunity which store necessary information and files for the Project Portfolio.

Follow the steps below to use the Project Portfolio button:
1. Log into Salesforce, click on Opportunities and navigate to the Opportunity that recently changed status to Closed Won.
2. In the upper-right corner, select the down caret button which opens a drop-down menu.
3. Select the New Project Portfolio button.
4. A new screen will open. Enter the fields for the Project Portfolio record (Note: All fields are required on this screen).
When you are finished entering the data, select Next in the lower-right hand corner.
The Project Portfolio record has been created and it will now appear on the right-hand side of the Opportunity screen.
5. If you should need to make any updates, select the Project Portfolio link on the Opportunity record which will take you to the Project Portfolio record.
6. On the record details view, please note the Project Description field
This rich text field allows pictures, links and text to be added.
7. To
upload any files related to the Project Portfolio record, select the Related
tab.
8. Select Upload Files or drop files onto the screen directly to upload.
