How to Highlight Text in PDF-XChange Editor

Purpose

This article explains how to highlight text in a PDF using PDF-XChange Editor and how to modify the highlight style.

Highlight Text in a PDF

  1. Open the PDF file in PDF-XChange Editor.

  2. Ensure the Comment Toolbar is visible.

    • Left-click the Comment menu item to display the toolbar if it is not already shown.

  3. Click the Highlight Text Tool on the Comment Toolbar.

  4. Left-click and drag your mouse across the text you want to highlight.

                              

  • The selected text will be highlighted as you drag.




Edit Highlight Style

  1. Right-click the Highlight Text Tool.

  2. Select Show Comments Styles Palette.

         3.   A new window will open, allowing you to modify highlight properties such as color, opacity, and appearance.
