Insert, Delete, and Rotate
 

Insert Page

  1. If you click on the tab Organize, then click Insert, and finally Insert Pages… in the PDF-XChange Editor, a menu window opens, where you can add a PDF document to the already opened file.

  1. Next, you will need to select the Source file, the Page Range to be inserted and enter the Destination in the edited document.

  1. Click OK to insert the specified pages in the location selected.

 

Insert Empty Pages

With the function Insert Empty Pages you can add any number of empty pages into the PDF document at any place you choose.

  1. If you click on the tab Organize, then click Insert, and finally Insert Empty Pages… in the PDF-XChange Editor, a menu window opens, where you can insert a PDF page to the already opened file.

  1. Next, you will select the type of Page to insert and the Destination in the edited document.

  1. Click OK to insert the specified page in the location selected.

Extract Pages

Single or multiple pages from an existing PDF document can be extracted with the function Extract Pages into one or several new files.

  1. If you click on the tab Organize and then Extract Pages… in the PDF-XChange Editor, a menu window opens, where you can extract PDF pages from a specified file.

  1. Next, you will need to select the Page Range and Output File you want to save the pages to.

  1. Click OK to finish extracting the pages.

Delete Pages

If you want to delete one or several pages from a PDF file, you can do this with the help of the function Delete Pages.

  1. If you click on the tab Organize, then click Delete, and finally Delete Pages… in the PDF-XChange Editor, a menu window opens, where you can select the pages to be deleted from your edited document.

  1. Next, you’ll select the Page Range to be deleted.

  1. Click OK to delete the Page Range you selected from the edited document.

 


 

 

Rotate Pages

If you want to rotate one or several pages within a PDF document by 90° or 180° clockwise or counter clockwise, you can use the respective function in the tab Organize and Rotate.

Additionally, you can set if you only want to rotate the pages with portrait format, landscape format or all pages.  To accomplish this, do the following:

  1. If you click on the tab Organize and then Rotate in the PDF-XChange Editor, a menu window opens, where you choose your pages orientation.

  1. Next, you will select the Direction you want to rotate the page/pages and the Page Range

  1. Click OK to rotate your page/pages.

 


 

 

Cut Pages

With the aid of the so-called crop box function in the menu Crop Pages or Crop Page Tool, you can cut the document shown in the preview window on the right side to the size you need and only the content you didn’t cut off, will be displayed in the document.

  1. If you click on the tab Organize, then Crop, and finally Crop Pages or Crop Page Tool in the PDF-XChange Editor, you can select the area to keep.  Both methods will open a window to crop your page/pages.  But with the Crop Page Tool you select the area to keep by dragging a box around that area before the window opens.

  1. Next, you will need to select your Crop Margins (area you want to keep. The margins will already be filled when you use the Crop Page Tool) and the Page Range of your edited document.

  1. Click OK to crop the portion of your edited document you want to keep.
