Who Is This For: All Team Members

When Does This Solution Apply: Any Team Member is requesting Paternity Leave.

 

Description: Keeley Companies policy states that all qualifying Team Members may request 2 days of paid paternity leave. If you have additional questions on this policy, please contact your HR.
This article guides 
Team Members through requesting paternity leave, viewing pending requests, and potentially cancelling unwanted requests on the Sage People portal.

1. Login to Sage People

2. Select the > next to Time Off and then select Vacation & Absence

3. Select New on the left side of the Vacation & Absence page.


4. Choose the "Start Date" and "End Date" for your requested time off and then select "Paternity Leave" under Reason. Then select "Next". 

NOTE: A warning message will appear notifying you that DOB and SSN will be required. If you do not have it when requesting time off, you can continue but please provide to your manager at your earliest convenience. 

5. On the next screen, you are required to enter in Expected Arrival Date and select Save when completed.


7. Once the Maternity Leave request is submitted, it will take you back to the Vacation & Absence page where you can see your pending request on the calendar. You can hover over the colored box to see what it is.

8. The bottom of the page has the option to show "Legends" which can tell you what each color on the calendar means.

9. Selecting on the box on the calendar will allow you to delete or edit the request.
