Where Will This Solution Be Located: Sage 300 CRE

When Does This Solution Apply: When receiving the error "This user does not have access to the requested company" when a user is trying to run a report within Sage 300 CRE.


If you are receiving the below error while running a report within Sage 300 CRE, follow the below steps to resolve the issue.

 

1. Close out of the report and exit Sage 300 CRE


2. Select the Start Menu on your computer and type "ODBC"


3. "Select ODBC Data Source 32-bit"

    - Note: There may be an similar option for 64-bit, but the 32-bit must be selected. The Sage 300 CRE ODBC connection is not built for 64-bit




4. Select "Timberline Data Source"to highlight it and hit the "Configure" button




5. Hit "Select Folder" button


6. Select the data folder you would like and hit Ok




7. Select Ok to Close the Timberline Data ODBC Setup Menu


8. Select Ok to close the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator


9. Launch Sage 300 and trying running the report again. If you continue to experience issue, please submit a help desk ticket to [email protected]
