Who is this for: Team members conducting company surveys with our customers.

When does this solution apply: When a team member is interested in sending out a company survey or has already completed one F2F with the customer and needs to enter the data into Salesforce.


Description: This article guides a Team Member through the process of successfully distributing a survey to a contact in Salesforce and ensuring you or the contact can complete the survey.


1) Log into Salesforce


2) Navigate to the interested contact


3) Click on the "Get Survey Invitation" button


4) Search for your survey template and click on it. In this case, we're sending Customer Survey 2019.

5) If you'd like to relate it back to a record, click on the Related Record field and relate it accordingly. In this case, we will relate it to an Account -> ZeroDay Technology Solutions.



6) Invitation Settings

  • Don't require authentication: ALWAYS CHECK THIS BOX! If this is not checked, you or the client will be unable to access the link once the survey is generated.
  • Auto-Expires: If you'd like to survey to auto-expire, you can set a date here.


7) Click on the Generate Invitation button and click the Copy Link button to get your survey link.



That's it! If you come across an error that states the Participant ID does not match the Owner Id, please clear your cookies and cache in your browser OR use a different browser to complete the survey from.
