Purpose: The purpose of this document is to give an overview to the Field Technicians in the FSL mobile app. 


About Field Service (FSL): Field Service Lightning (FSL) is Salesforce’s field service solution. It is an onsite job management platform with real-time collaboration capabilities. FSL allows L. Keeley to automatically manage Field Technicians by streamlining both the customer and employee experiences.


Who is this for: Keeley Construction Field Technicians


When you open the Field Service app you will default to the Schedule tab. You will mainly operate in the Schedule, Notification and Profile tabs. 


Along the bottom of all screens you will see an "Actions" tab that you can pull up for more options. The Actions tab will give you different options based on what you are doing within the app. 



Schedule Tab:

  • You can choose from the dropdown menu on the top of your screen to change your view
  • You can view the map to see all of your scheduled Service Appointments. 
    • If you click on a specific Service Appointment on the map you can view the details or get directions
  • You can see your schedule of all of your Service Appointments and click for more details


     

Notifications Tab:
  • When you receive a notification you will see a green notification like the one above
  • On the notifications tab you can select any notification to see more details


Profile Tab


On the Profile tab you can:

  • View and Request an absence by clicking + next to RESOURCE ABSENCES

             

  • Create or Update your Profile picture by clicking on the icon above your name

           


  • Edit your settings by clicking on the gear icon on the top right of your screen
  • On the Settings screen you can:
    • Sync your data if you have been working offline
    • Change your Permissions Settings
    • Like or Report an issue to Salesforce 
      • *Reporting an issue will not notify your supervisor or Systems Administrator. If you need assistance please reach out to your Supervisor
    • Manage your Account - this allows you to login using a different user or into a testing environment. You likely will not need to do this.
