Purpose: The purpose of this document is to instruct the Field Technicians how to take or add photos to a Service Appointment using Sharinpix in the FSL mobile app.
About Field Service (FSL): Field Service Lightning (FSL) is Salesforce’s field service solution. It is an onsite job management platform with real-time collaboration capabilities. FSL allows L. Keeley to automatically manage Field Technicians by streamlining both the customer and employee experiences.

To upload photos to a Service Appointment you will need to download the SharinPix and Field Service Apps. Here is a document to walk you through that process and where to find them.
Once you have SharinPix and the Field Service app downloaded and you are logged into Field Service you will be able to upload photos to a Service Appointment using the steps below.
*Note: You will not be able to upload a photo until the status of the Service Appointment to "In Progress." Here is an article on how to change the status of a Service Appointment.
1. Select the Service Appointment you are working on
2. At the bottom of your screen select Actions and swipe up until you see "Update WOLI". Select "Update WOLI."
3. On the Update WOLI screen you will see multiple blue links:
- Take Before Pictures
- Take During Pictures
- Take After Pictures
- Take As Built Pictures
Clicking on any of the blue links within the app will open up the SharinPix app that you have already downloaded on your app.
*Note - select the correct link because SharinPix will tag the photo with the description of the link you choose.
4. When SharinPix opens you will see a Warning pop-up: "Upload token will expire in 2 hour(s). If all images are not uploaded by then, they will not show on your Salesforce. Please contact your Salesforce administrator to extend the duration of the token."
- If you are working offline please make sure you upload your photos every 2 hours or they will not get attached to your Service Appointment.
Select OK
5. Take your picture using SharinPix. You can alternatively choose a photo that you took with your device by clicking the icon on the top right of your screen.
6. Upload your photos to Salesforce using by clicking the green cloud icon.
*Note - If you are working offline you can upload your photos at a later time as long as you upload within 2 hours.
Once you upload your photos you will see the screen below.
7. As it says on the screen click on the top to go back to Field Service. This will bring you back to where you left off in the Field Service App.
Select Next, Next again and Finish.
To view your uploaded photos in Field Service navigate to your Service Appointment.
1. Scroll down till you see WORK ORDER LINE ITEM
2. Click on the blue link above your line item
3. Selected the RELATED tab
4. Scroll down and select SharinPix Images
5. Select the blue link. In the image above it is "SI-0102".
6. Stay on the details tab and scroll down
7. Scroll down until you see Image URL Original and click the blue link.
8. Select View
