- You should then see the below app that links to the COPS pages
- Click on Vz COPS App
- That will direct you to a page that looks like the one below
- From here you will be able to navigate to Close Out Work Orders, Close Out Segments and Rake Offs
- Team members may have either one of the below profiles that determines the level of access they have-
1. COPS Team - maximum ability to edit/ update items
2. Market Team - limited ability
3. View Only Team - no ability to edit
- Based on which profile the team member falls under, they will be able to edit/ update or view the information in Salesforce.
1. If the team member has a COPS Team profile linked to their email, they will have the maximum ability to edit/update fields on the Work Order and Segment pages
- They will also have the ability to create a new market
- To create a new market, the team member can navigate to Vz Markets tab and click new
- You will then need to enter the name for the market and the database name
- The name can be anything you like but the database name is the most crucial one, since that is what will link the data from the database to salesforce
- You should get the database name from the engineers on your team
- Once created, click save
- You will then see the new market that gets created
- To view all markets, click on the drop down menu and click all
- To enter information about work orders, click on the Close Out Work Order tab at the top
- Click on the one you would like to update or view
- That will open the details of the record
- You can see if you are allowed to edit a field or not based on the pencil icon next to each field
- Some fields like the ones below are formula fields and cannot be edited
- Hover your mouse on the "i" to view the help text that explains what that field calculates
- You can then navigate to the Close Out Segment by either clicking on it at the top or by clicking on the related list
- Again, you can determine if you are allowed to edit the information or not by looking for the pencil icon next to the fields
- From the segment page, you can also add the construction or splicing rake offs by clicking on "New"
- When you click new, you will be asked to select which rake off you would like to enter
- Hit next
- Based on the selection, enter the required details and click save
- Once saved, you will see the rake off in this section.
- To delete it, click the drop down on the right and click delete
Note- If you are unable to edit any information, you may have permissions to only view the information.
