Assign the Microsoft Teams Phone License

1. Access Microsoft 365 Admin Portal with your Admin email address and password

2. Search for the user under Users>Active Users on the left toolbar

   

3. Click the Users Name

4. Click the Licenses and Apps tab in the main window

5. Scroll down until you find the Microsoft Teams Phone Standard license


Note: Make sure that a license is available

6. Select the license and click Save Changes



Assign a Teams Phone Number to User

1. Go to the following website:  Voice Panel - Sign In

2. Click the Sign In button

3. Again use your admin login to sign in.

4. Click the Users tab


5. Type in the user you are trying to search for and click Search


6. Click Assign Policy>US-Policy

   

7. Click Assign Number


8. Select a number from the list based on the users location

9. Click Apply Changes




Assigning Users to Call Queues

1. From the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, click the Teams link in the toolbar on the left


Note: You will need the Teams Administrator Role to go any further.

2. Click Voice>Call Queues on the left toolbar.


3. Click the queue that you want to add a member to.

4. Click Call Answering on the left.


5. Under Users click the Add Users link


6. Search for the user you want to Add and click Add

7. Click Submit and you are finished.




1. In Microsoft Teams, click Calls on the left


2. Your new teams number will located at the bottom of the number pad.
