Purpose: This solution is for Team Members asking for a salesforce access and will walk you through a simple process on how to create a user.


About Salesforce CRM: Salesforce CRM is our Customer Relationship Management System, it is used to help manage our Customer and Vendors as well as bids. Additional we use Salesforce CRM for customized processes such as F2F.

All Accounts Must Be Approved By a Manager Before Creation. 


STEP 1. Once logged in, navigate to the gear emblem and left click and then left click setup.


STEP 2. On the left side navigation you will see Administration. From here you will select the User drop down and double click Users.


STEP 3. Select New User if you have one user account to created or Add Multiple if you have more than one account to create



STEP 4. The highlighted areas are need to be populated either salesforce requires it or it makes reporting or user access easier. Please make sure the fields are populated.

STEP 5: Federation ID is needed for SSO, populate that field with you user email address. DO NOT CHANGE LOCALE SETTING & APPROVER SETTINGS




STEP 6: Select Save and Reset Password. Notify the user to check their email to be able to sign in.
