When modifying a security group from the Enter Project Screen > Security tab and it gives the error message "Unable to create record. A record with the same unique identifier already exists in table JCJOBSECGRPPROJ Error committing".


This is due to the security Group Code being changed instead of inserting a new line and deleting the old. 


To avoid this error perform the following steps:

  • Click 'Insert' to add a line and enter the new code
    • Repeat this step if multiple new security codes are required
  • Put your cursor in the line to be removed and click 'Delete' to remove the unwanted group.
