How to Request Software from the Freshservice Service Catalog

Purpose

This article explains how to request software through the Freshservice Service Catalog.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • A company account with Single Sign-On (SSO) access.
  • Internet access to the Freshservice portal.

Procedure

Step 1: Navigate to the Freshservice Portal

Open your web browser and navigate to the Freshservice portal:

https://keeleycompanies.freshservice.com/

Step 2: Click Sign In

On the Freshservice homepage, click the Sign In button.

Step 3: Sign In with Company SSO

Select Sign in with SSO and enter your company credentials if prompted.

          

Step 4: Open the Service Catalog

After signing in successfully, click the Service Catalog tab located at the top of the page.

Step 5: Search for the Application

Use the search bar to find the application you would like to request.

Step 6: Request the Application

Hover your mouse over the desired application and click Request Now.

Step 7: Complete Any Required Information

If the application requires additional information, complete all required fields before submitting your request.

Example: Applications such as HeavyBid require additional information before the request can be submitted.

Step 8: Submit the Request

Review the information you entered and click Place Request to submit your software request.

What Happens Next?

Once your request has been submitted:

  • Your request will be routed to the appropriate IT team for review and fulfillment.
  • You may receive email notifications regarding the status of your request.
  • If additional information is needed, an IT team member will contact you before the request is completed.
