🔹 1. Add Members to a Standard Channel

Standard channels inherit their membership from the team itself. So to add someone to a standard channel:

•     Go to the team name in the Teams sidebar

•     Click More options (•••) > Manage team

•     Under the Members tab, click Add member

•     Search for the user and click Add



🔒 2. Add Users to a Private Channel

Private channels have their own membership list, separate from the team.

•     Go to the team name > Manage team

•     Click the Channels tab

•     Find your private channel and click Manage channel

•     Under Members, click Add

•     Search for users and assign roles (member or owner)



🔗 3. Add Users to a Shared Channel

Shared channels allow collaboration across teams or organizations.

•     Go to the shared channel

•     Click More options (•••) > Manage channel

•     Click Add people

•     Choose whether to add individuals, teams, or external users (via B2B direct connect)
