Here’s what you can do to change the view or resolution in Remote Desktop:



Adjust Display Settings Before Connecting

  • Open Remote Desktop Connection (search “Remote Desktop” in Windows).
  • Click Show Options → go to the Display tab.
  • Use the slider under Display configuration to set the resolution.
  • If you want full screen, leave it at max; for a smaller window, reduce the slider.
  • Go back to General tab → click Save so these settings apply next time.
