CMIC Analytics Access – Proper Permission Process
If a user submits a request for CMIC Analytics access, please follow the steps below to ensure proper authorization and documentation:
1. Identify a User to Mirror
Confirm which existing user’s permissions should be mirrored.
If this information is not included in the ticket, request clarification before proceeding.
2. Obtain Manager Approval
Ensure the user’s manager provides approval directly within the ticket.
This approval must be documented before any permissions are assigned.
3. Navigate to User Maintenance
Log into CMIC.
Go to:
Field > User Maintenance
4. Assign Roles
Search for the requested user.
Select Edit Current Row.
Navigate to the Roles section.
Assign the appropriate access role.
5. Analytics Access Role Code
The role code required for Analytics access is:
BIDASH – “Dashboard Creator”
