If a user is trying to post and get an error message along the lines of "Error converting units of measure from XX to YY for Job ZZ..." you would need to setup the weighted measurement conversion.


How to add Conversion factors to Weight/Measure in CMiC
  • in CMiC go to SYSTEM DATA > Global Tables > Weight Measure
  • Select one of the WM codes that need to be converted 
    • should be listed in the error message, if no specific error message have the user send it in
    • Example from this ticket: Weight Measure conversion for LS to GL does not exist
  • Select either of the WM codes
  • I the Conversion Section below add the other code
  • Add the conversion factor. 
    • if it's not obvious you can use 1 as the conversion factor as this case is going from Lump Sum to Gallons so we're using 1-1
    • If it's something like IN to FT you would use 12 IN - 1 FT
    • If unsure ask the user what to use.
  • Click Save
