When a user receives the error below about "Job XYZ is not on file for company XYZ or user has no access", we would need to check the job security for both the job and the user and get approval from their direct supervisor before being able to make any change to the users job security group on their profile.

Error:

Step 1: Check what security groups are on the job (Video attached):
  1. Navigate to Enter Job
  2. Search for the Job
  3. Open the Job
  4. Go to the Security Tab

Step 2: Check what security groups the User has on their Profile (Video attached)
  1. Navigate to user maintenance
  2. Search for the user
  3. Open the Company tab and go into the Job
Step 3: Does the user have any of the jobs security groups from Step 1 on their profile from Step 2?

Yes, Email them back letting them know there is no reason they should be getting the error and to try again.
No, Email them and their supervisor back asking for the supervisor which job security group they would like the user to be added into and provide the security groups that are on the job from Step 1 versus what is on their profile in Step 2. Do not add any security groups until a supervisor confirmed which one to add.
