We would need to check the job security for both the job and the user and get approval from their direct supervisor before being able to make any change to the users job security group on their profile.

Step 1: Check what security groups are on the job (Video attached):
  1. Navigate to Enter Job
  2. Search for the Job
  3. Open the Job
  4. Go to the Security Tab

Step 2: Check what security groups the User has on their Profile (Video attached)
  1. Navigate to user maintenance
  2. Search for the user
  3. Open the Company tab and go into the Job

Step 3: Does the user have any of the jobs security groups from Step 1 on their profile from Step 2?

Yes, Step 4: Check the job status, allow transactions flag, allow timesheets flag (Video attached)
Email them and let them know they have access to the job but that their job status, whether the allow transactions flag is checked and the allow timesheets flag is checked. We do not make those changes but can let the user know what the fields are set to so the user can reach out to the project accountant to make any changes needed to the job.

No, Email them and their supervisor back asking for the supervisor which job security group they would like the user to be added into and provide the security groups that are on the job from Step 1 versus what is on their profile in Step 2. Do not add any security groups until a supervisor confirmed which one to add.
